Alarms

For over half a decade GL has been supplying a range of alarms directly to the housebuilding market. Thanks to our knowledge and experience in this field, we have continuously improved our products resulting in our latest iteration of alarms, the slimline range. Unlike many mains powered alarms on the market, ours offer you protection without being obtrusive.

Our full range of alarms include mains powered smoke and heat alarms, interlinkable for maximum fire protection within your home. These alarms are also supplied with dust covers to ensure contamination is kept to a minimum during construction. GL has also developed battery powered Carbon Monoxide alarms to comply with building regulations and a mains powered CO2 alarm which is a requirement in new build properties in Scotland.

All of our alarms are kitemarked and fully compliant with all relevant British Standards.

GL-P103

Battery Operated Carbon Monoxide Alarm GL-P103

Carbon Monoxide (CO) is known as the silent killer, it can’t seen smelt or tasted. Therefore, CO alarms should be fitted in any room with a solid-fuel appliance is installed.

  • 7 Year built in battery – battery life that lasts the lifetime of the alarm meaning batteries never need changing
  • Quick click installation – only affix the black plate to the surface and twist the fitting on, saving time and money
  • LED Indicators – Allows the user to quickly assess the state of the alarm
  • Compact Design – unobtrusive protection

These alarms have a 7-year product life, with user replaceable batteries. This product is fully compliant with BS EN 50291-1:2018.

Mains Powered Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Monitor and Alarm GL-CO2AM

In order to comply with Scottish Building Regulations, it is required to monitor air quality to make occupants aware if and when ventilation is required. The easiest way to achieve this is with our Carbon Dioxide (CO2) detector.

  • Coloured LED Indicator – traffic Light LEDs allows occupant to easily assess the air quality
  • 24 Hour Data – maintains data over 24-hour period allowing users to see average CO2 levels as well as the highest levels of the day
  • Inbuilt Alarm – alerts user to high levels of CO2, prompting them to ventilate their home
  • Self-Calibrating Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) Technology – ensures all measurements are accurate and reliable
