Modern downlights are designed to be reliable, low maintenance, and easy to replace. But like any electrical product, issues can happen over time.
The good news? Most problems are straightforward to identify and often just as easy to fix.

π Itβs likely reaching the end of its lifespan
Unlike traditional bulbs, LED fittings tend to fade over time rather than fail instantly.
β This is a normal part of the product lifecycle
β The fitting will usually need replacing rather than repairing
The good news:
Our downlights are designed for quick, simple replacement
β Check if the fitting is still within its warranty period
β If it is, it can usually be replaced directly – please contact our team.
β If not, a like-for-like ECO800 is our recommendation

If you don’t know either of the above, the batch number can be used to prove your warranty.
To locate your batch number – look on the downlights driver.

If your light has stopped working completely, the most common cause is:
π A fault with the driver (the component that powers the light)
Why this happens?
The driver controls the power going to the LED. Over time, it can fail before the light itself.
β Replace the driver
β Make sure you choose the correct type (for example, dimmable or non-dimmable)
In many cases, this will resolve the issue without needing to replace the full fitting.

If replacing the driver doesnβt fix the issue:
β The downlight itself may be faulty
β Or it may have reached the end of its life
At that point, replacing the full unit is usually the best option.
Both your PRO800 and PRO1300 are usually under warranty if it is within 2 years of purchase or the handover date of your property.

If your fitting uses a replaceable GU10 bulb and it stops working:
π The lamp has simply failed over time
β This is expected with standard bulbs
β It doesnβt indicate a fault with the fitting itself
β Replace the bulb with a new GU10
β No need to change the full downlight
